Shipping & Return Policy

At Byte Rupee (“we,” “our,” or “us”), we aim to ensure a transparent and trustworthy shopping experience for both buyers and sellers. This Refund and Cancellation Policy explain the conditions under which orders may be canceled or refunded.

1. Order Cancellation

1.1 Buyer-Initiated Cancellations

  • Orders can be canceled by the buyer before they are marked as “Shipped” or “Fulfilled.”
  • To cancel an order, go to your account dashboard or contact customer support at support@snaptrade.one.
  • Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled, but it may be eligible for return or refund (see Section 2).

1.2 Seller-Initiated Cancellations

  • Sellers may cancel orders due to product unavailability, payment issues, or order errors. In such cases, the buyer will receive a full refund.

2. Return & Refund Policy

Because we are a marketplace, individual sellers may have their own return and refund terms. However, all sellers on Byte Rupee must meet our minimum standards below:

2.1 Return Window

  • Buyers must initiate a return within 7 of receiving the item.

2.2 Eligible Returns

  • Products must be:
    • Unused and in original condition
    • In original packaging with all accessories and tags
    • Accompanied by proof of purchase

2.3 Non-Returnable Items

  • Digital downloads, perishable goods, intimate or hygiene-related items (e.g., cosmetics, undergarments), and customized products are not eligible for return unless damaged or defective.

3. Refund Process

  • Once the seller receives and inspects the returned item, a refund will be issued within 5 business days.
  • Refunds are credited to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
  • In case of dispute, Byte Rupee may step in to mediate and resolve the issue based on our buyer protection policies.

4. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or not as described:

  • Notify the seller or our support team within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Include photographic evidence and order details.
  • You may request a replacement, store credit, or full refund, depending on the seller’s resolution options.

5. Shipping for Returns

  • Buyers may be responsible for return shipping unless:
    • The item was defective, incorrect, or damaged
    • The seller’s policy includes free returns

We recommend using a trackable shipping method. Sellers and buyers are responsible for keeping proof of return.

6. Digital Goods and Services

All sales of digital products, services, or downloadable content are final unless otherwise stated by the seller. Refunds may be granted in cases of technical failure or non-delivery.

7. Dispute Resolution

If a refund or cancellation request is denied by a seller and you believe it is unjust, you may escalate the issue to Byte Rupee within 7 days of the denial. Our support team will review and mediate disputes as per our buyer protection standards.
